MAS Katy JIU-JITSU - March

El-Peace Corner jiu-jitsu & self-defense instructor "Mohamed Sultan":

A Muslim Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt under Ulpiano Malachias of Gracie Barra Westchase, he started training in the art for self-defense purposes in 2011 along with wrestling and Muay Thai. He earned his degree in environmental science and Geology in 2013. Yet, his love for the martial art disciplines grew more in him once the degree was accomplished, and a decision to be an ambassador of the BJJ discipline became a life goal. he started as an assistant to his professor from 2013 until 2016. He then became a head instructor for the kids' program at Gracie Barra Katy from 2016 until 2020. He moved to Dallas in May of 2020 to be the head instructor of an academy just to gain enough experience to come back to Houston with a vision of passing knowledge on the mats he would feel most purposeful in. He taught off of his garage “El-Peace Garage” with his vision of “El-Peace Corner” finally coming to life in 2022 at MAS Katy Center.

Required Gears:

⁃ Kimonos (Gis) must be specifically for jiujitsu. Fuji is one of the ones with good quality and prices. Individuals are free to get what they want as long as they are white or blue Gis.

Program Description:

⁃ 3 classes a week for kids and adults, valued at $140/month for monthly registration and $120/month for autopayment subscription. Daily classes will be offered as El-Peace Corner grows in a near future.

⁃ Dedication and eagerness to learn, grow, and work hard are requirements. No excuses is an extremely important rule.

⁃ 3 groups: kids 3-6 years old (little champions 1) / Youth 7-14 years old (LCH 2 ) /  adults 15+ years old.

⁃ Times: 

         ⁃ Monday and Wednesday: 4:30 to 5:30 pm (LCH 1) / 5:30 to 6:30 (LCH 2) /  6:30 to 8:00 adults.

         ⁃ Saturday: 10:30 to 11:30 am (LCH 1) / 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (LCH 2) /  12:30 to 1:30 pm adults.
